Day 3 Update 2

Abby's drainage tube and pacemaker wires (left in after surgery in case they need to adjust how her heart is beating) are out and her incision is uncovered for all to see! It's a glorious thing... a reminder of God's perfect healing. For being someone who gets woozy around blood, I am quite enamored with it.

Prayer requests:
- that Abby can breathe really well (her oxygen levels stay high) without the tubes in her nose
- that she really starts to "wake up" and eat well
- her iron levels would go up and no need for a blood transfusion tomorrow because she is slightly anemic
- that her echocardiogram shows a wonderfully patched heart

  1. Dear Folks.
Great news! Your prayer requests will be acknowledged, but He already knows before you ask. Love, Rebecca M

  2. It is so wonderful reading how the Lord is taking care of you! Sweet little Abby, God keeps showing us how He knows and cares for each of our little moments of each day and provides what needs those moments have. Thank you for being a testimony to His faithfulness as we watch you trust Him! We love and keep praying for you, your mommy & daddy~

    Love,
    Robert & Gerri A.

  3. Abigail's Animal Friends

KittyCat, KittyCat, where have you been?
I went to L.A to look at a Queen.
KittyCat, KittyCat, how did you dare?
Slipped into that place and climbed each stair.

Bobtail Rabbit, did you go along?
Of course I did, I bobbed through the throng.
Bobtail, Bobtail, what did you see?
A tall person held Abby right over me.

Miss MacMouse, MacMouse what ate your hat?
I swam the river and a fish-hook did that.
Why wear such a hat that looks like a whale?
To hear sweet chuckles from our Abigail.

MacMouse an odd threesome you must have made!
Bobby, Cat and I met in a glade.
And there was no fight, and all were nice?
Fido chased a wild goose once or twice.

Ah Fido! Out of sorts and out of tune?
Music fell on us from the Barony of Lune.
Isn't the Barony of Lune in Ireland?
Yes, and Nessie in Scotland joined our band.

Good grief! What a party and all were friends?
For the love of Abby we each made amends.
So you all found peace over one little tot?
Yes, and in turn we sit by Abby's wee cot.
